Blish Serum Bottle
Class: Computer-Aided Industrial Design
School Year: Sophomore
With the goal to design a bottle that can hold 30ml of liquid, I decided to go for a beauty product approach.
With this, I designed a modern and trendy brand design in mind. The bottle pinches in the middle of the body to create a surface for two fingers to easily hold the body. The body mimics the dropper with a soft tip to serve as a serum dropper.
The final render shows a lightly tinted glass bottle with a twist cap dropper for a serum product.

Brainstorm Sketch
For the initial stages, I sketched out a curvy bottle design, taking inspiration from a blob to be fun and free in form.
As it is a modern and fresh branding idea I wanted the design to be lively and soft. Therefore the lack of harsh edges mixed with pops of color I created the Blish Serum Bottle.
Orthographic
For many manufacturing processes, it is ideal to have dimensions and exact ratios to be able to have a smooth idea from designer to manufacturer.
Since this is a concept piece for an envisioned brand I decided to include this in my process for potential future use.

Initial Design
For the first design, I wanted a flat base on the top portion for an easier rest on the fingers. I shifted away from the pump as I wanted a luxurious experience, therefore added a glass serum dropper.

Final Design
As I wanted the top to follow the base piece I decided to go with a round topper. Therefore I settled with the dropper for a rounder and softer body- much more on point with the brand in concept.
